Over the past 15 years, I’ve grown in size. In the summer of 2012, I was 288 pounds. I was recently single after 23 years and I started to be active again, I went down to about 254 pounds but never made a serious dent. Now being December 2020… I thought I was 303. I purchased a new scale on Amazon that connects to an app and I tried it today.

Let’s call today… Day one.

December 7th, 2020

But getting on this scale for the first time… It put my weight at a higher amount. I don’t know if it’s accurate or not. But… I’m going to say it is.

No idea if the metrics it measures are accurate. I don’t know what they all are anyway. But I’m going to learn them. In a review of the scale, someone said to use it as a guide. So I’m going to take all my measurements and check in here on a quarterly basis. I’m going to weigh myself every day and see how things change. All of it goes into my Apple Health Stats.

Using my Garmin watch to track movement, stress, my heart, body battery, sleep, steps, water, and some other metrics.

I’m going to use MyFitnessPal App to track my food intake.

Start Date: December 7th, 2020 Metrics will follow below in a couple of days with a spreadsheet. Currently setting it up and measuring how chubby I am 😉
