It was on this podcast that I listened to Carol’s story and followed her on IG. I later found out she started a website called THRU-r (more on that below) and I joined on for some Zoom Meet-Up’s to talk about the trail with new hikers and hikers who have completed the PCT like Carol.

I had a chance to talk to her about her new and growing start-up called THRU-r and how she is planning to grow it over the next year. It’s an informative blog & links for those new to backpacking & thru-hiking. Virtual community & one-on-one meet-ups which I’ve had a chance to join in on the Zoom calls and meet new people and ask questions to hikers who have completed the PCT.
